The MBayar horse originated in the Baol region of Senegal in West Africa. It is actually a pony breed and is small sized horse. The small size probably comes from the parentage derived from Fleuve and the Fouta. Some experts also believe that the MBayar could have the barb blood n them. The Barb itself is a medium sized horse. The MBayar has athletic persona and strong muscular front. It can run fast and is capable of light farming work. This breed is either found in bay or chestnut colors mainly.
