A. G. Orlov of the Khrenov Stud takes the pride of developing this breed of horse, and hence the name “Orlov Trotter” was established for this breed of horses. Orlovs are developed in various regions of Russia, under natural stable and pastures. These horses were suitable under various conditions and there was an improvement in the breed of these horses throughout Russia.
